Marijuana and Alcohol are such a problem for teenagers because it’s a release from their ordinary lives. Most teens also think it’s more of an adult thing to do, and it makes them feel mature. Teens also see a lot of young celebrities doing it so they have to be just like them. Driving usage is when you’re driving while under the influence of some kind of mind altering drug. Long Term consequences ingredient in marijuana, delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, acts on cannabinoid receptors on nerve cells and influences the activity of those cells. The heart begins to beat rapidly when someone is on marijuana, it increases 20 to 50 beats per minute can increase even faster when your taking more drugs. Drinking leads to loss of coordination, Poor judgment, slowed reflexes, distorted vision. Rates of driving while under the influence, suicide, sex- assault, and high risk sex, have gone up because of alcohol and marijuana. I think is doesn’t matter if it’s illegal or not, teenagers are still going to do it, most likely because they haven’t found their natural high!

Your Ideas ( teen obesity)
I think that we should talk about Teen obesity because its a major part in our society. The percentage of teens that are overweight is increasing.Children and teens 6 to 19, 15 percent(almost 9 million) are overweight according to the 1999-2000 data, or triple what the proportion was in 1980. Obesity is a high amount of body fat that individuals are at least 20 percent heavier than their ideal body weight, "Overweight" is defined as any weight in excess of the ideal range. Obesity is a common eating disorder associated with adolescence. Obesity can weaking physical health and well being, it can also shorten your life expectancy. The cause of teen obesity is lack of physical activity combined with unhealthy eating habits. Most teen choose to sit infront of the computer or tv all day and text on their phones instead of working out for ten mintues a day, when really you could workout and watch tv at the same time. Activites that you can do to reduce teen obesity are; basketball, tennis, volleyball, swimming, and any ball sport. I also think that for gym we should invovle more ball sports then.
